Australia - Hervey Bay

The Black Dog Cafe, Torquay, Queensland
The yellow and black dominates one of the corners of the Esplanade at the Torquay side of Hervey Bay opposite the beach.

These guys do a great soy latte and an even better scrambled egg and bacon
.

Sexie Coffee
For something a little sexier, you will not be able to resist a stop at Sexie Coffee situated between Hervey Bay and Maryborough in Australia's Queensland.

Expertly roasted and blended on site, Sexie Coffee boasts so many different blends that you will be plunging, dripping, and perking before you know it. You can buy whole beans, ground coffee, gifts and scrummy gluten free cakes, muffins and biscuits. This is a shop and a cafe and you will be tempted to return time and time again.

Bayswater Hotel and Restaurant Urangan, Queensland, 4655 The hotel is located at the Pier end of Esplanade. With the spotlight firmly on this seaside town, since Virgin Blue started directing passengers through to this area from Sydney and Brisbane and Melbourne, the town has been given the title of resort. Bayswater Hotel and Restaurant is considered one of the Bay's top dining spots. The service is friendly, but the wait staff lack knowledge of the menu and the ingredients. Our table host was happy to find out more about the food from the chef who was accommodating. The baby barramundi fillets are lovely. Also try the strawberries with a maceration of caramel sauce which was also wheat and gluten free. I had to try the dessert to see the 'maceration' of sauce!
