Food shopping Around The World Without

Australia
Always read the ingredients on food items. There are so many hidden sugars and fats in various forms. What I found very helpful in Australia was that if Glucose Syrup was used, it is stated that it is derived from wheat. Gluten free and Wheat free has it's own approved food labelling symbols.

Also be careful of Palm Oil which is used extensively in free from products in the UK, particularly Sainsbury's Free From range.
