Giovanna’s passion for baking started from a young age and she is excited to be able to share it with Sydneysiders with her delicious range of sweets and treats from the GivandTake Kitchen!
Sweeties don’t have to be bad for you or be limited to run-of-the-mill banana bread and huge muffins that are full of fat, sugar, and have no real taste. And Giovanna certainly shows that with her wide range of gluten and dairy free alternatives.

Giovanna understands allergies and intollerances and being lactose intolerant herself, she has spent hours developing and adapting her recipes to also include gluten and dairy free alternatives which are proving very popular.
Giovanna’s menu is divided into three categories:
giv it a little: bite-sized sweeties that are the ideal compliment to coffee or tea, during a meeting or party.
giv it a lot: larger-sized cakes that are light on the palate and waistline; perfect for morning or afternoon tea.
giv it all you got: decadent cakes for the moments when you just want to be indulgent, but not too naughty.

Classic Friands Made with almond meal and lemon zest, and topped with seasonal fruits or almond flakes.

Coffee and Hazelnut Friands. A twist on the Classic Friand. Freshly brewed espresso complements the flavour of hazelnuts.
Pasta di Mandorle Traditional Italian soft almond biscuit. Pure and simple: almond meal, egg whites, sugar, vanilla and icing sugar. Made with only the freshest ingredients — no imitation essence or flour.
